OND or HND in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. 1–2 years of experience as a cashier or in a similar role. Basic understanding of accounting and cash management principles. Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications. Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Cash Handling & Transactions: Process customer payments accurately using POS systems, cash, or transfer. Issue receipts, refunds, or change when necessary. Ensure proper cash balancing at the beginning and end of each shift. Customer Service: Greet customers politely and respond to inquiries. Ensure a pleasant and professional checkout experience. Handle customer complaints or escalate issues to supervisors when required. Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate daily sales records. Prepare cash summaries and hand over daily collections to the accounts team. Ensure proper documentation and filing of transaction records. Store/Operational Support: Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed. Work closely with sales or store staff to ensure smooth transactions.  Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with POS materials.
