Education and Work Experience: SSCE, Relevant certification or Diploma in Engineering or Technical discipline. Minimum of five (5) years of experience operating heavy machinery. Valid Class H Licence. Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of diagnostic tools and software used for troubleshooting HEMM equipment. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems used in heavy earth-moving machinery. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment issues. Experience with HEMM Brands: Familiarity with specific brands of heavy machinery (e.g., Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo) is a plus. Physical stamina to work in hot, dusty, and noisy environments. Operate heavy earth-moving machinery according to operational guidelines. Conduct pre-operation and post-operation inspections to identify faults and ensure optimal equipment performance. Report equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance teams for repairs. Comply with safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and performance. Keep work areas organized and clean. Perfobrm additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
